CONGRATULATIONS Alfredo Rodriguez!

Congratulations to our most recent NCCT Graduate Alfredo Rodriguez. Yesterday he accepted full-time work with the roofers/waterproofing Union Local 81. Alfredo has been with us for almost 4 months and while in the construction training program, he earned the following industry certifications: Flagger, Confined Spaces, CPR-First Aid, 8 Hour HAZMAT,  Traffic Control, Welding and a NCCT Graduation Certificate of Completion. He is extremely excited to go to work and provide for his family earning career wages and union package benefits!

Congratulations to our most recent Graduate and Placement Bryson Burks-Rodriguez. At just 18 years old, Bryson is currently the man of the house who helps to take care of his 2 younger siblings and mother. Bryson began attending NCCT on January 8th, 2024 and while attending NCCT, he earned his Traffic Control and Flagger Certifications. Traffic Flagger Certification Day at NCCT West Sac!

Today we held a Certified Flagger class at the WUSD – NCCT campus. Instructor Tyler Wood with Ironworkers Local 118 prepared our NCCT students for the workforce with flagger and traffic safety training. This is gonna be a great addition to their resume and list of Certifications.

Congratulations Jose Rubio

Congratulations to Jose Rubio – Recent NCCT Graduate and Newest IBEW Local 340 Apprentice We are proud to announce that NCCT Student Jose Rubio was just accepted into the IBEW Local 340 Union as an Electrician Apprentice! Jose started attending NCCT in late August of 2023 at the West Sacramento Location training with Instructor Jason Billington. While attending he earned his Confined Spaces, Traffic Control Certifications and then he successfully completed our 6 Week Electrical Training Course with Instructor Erik Lopez.

First Step Communities – Project @ The Grove

Today the NCCT Class from our West Sacramento Adult Program are beginning the remodeling project of 24 cabins for the homeless community at The Grove. The WUSD students built the first prototype many years ago, so it’s nice to see all the ideas we had come to life at The Grove Facility!

Teamsters Union Training

First day back with the student body at our West Sacramento Location – starting the new year off with a bang! Today we have 28 students training with the Teamsters Union Local 150-DOT 8hr certification program . This certification will land on the students resume helping with job placement assistance.
