At NCCT, our curriculum combines classroom learning with hands-on training on NCCT construction sites. Every lesson is designed to prepare trainees for entry into the construction trades and for long-term success in the workforce.

While in the program, students gain opportunities to work on real community renovation projects—each one unique—while also mastering essential construction skills.


📚 What You’ll Learn

Students rotate between the classroom and jobsite/workshop, building both technical skills and life skills. Training covers:

  • Over 22 construction trades, including:

    • Construction Safety

    • Hand Tools & Power Tools

    • Building Layouts & Blueprint Reading

    • Labor

    • Electrical

    • Plumbing

    • Painting

    • Glazing

    • Floor Covering

    • Landscaping

    • Roofing & Siding

    • Solar Installation

  • Hazard Training & Certifications, such as OSHA, CPR/First Aid, Traffic Control and more
