This week NCCT students toured the high rise Turner Construction project today at 750 N street downtown. An introduction panel of subcontractors and business agents from the Laborers, Carpenters, electricians and Sheetmetal reps shared their stories on how they got into the trades and climbed the corporate ladder. They covered how living and breathing what you do on the job, and always trying to be for safer and more efficient naturally builds that leader every superintendent needs on their jobs.

Good morning folks, Northern California Construction Training was was asked to build another garden for the Sacramento Kings and Raley’s! So of course you know our students came in cooking with hot grease! We installed:   -(6) 4x8x3 redwood stained and sealed planter boxes with water lines – (1) Redwood park bench – (6) birdhouses – (2) temperature gages -We removed 30 cubic yards, and trenched over 400 feet for waterlines for 5 of the planter boxes. Installed 10 cubic

Take a peek at what our Stanislaus NCCT Students have been up to this year- After successfully completing their Safety Assessment Trainings with Power Tools, they have learned about tying rebar, demo, control joints, finishing, mixing and placing concrete. They have also covered framing, forming and more, all under the Instruction and guidance of our Stanislaus NCCT Trainer Chris Faix! Great work to All!                                       

On June 4th The Sacramento Kings invited NCCT to Golden 1 Arena for an event called “Court of Dreams.”  While we were there they provided us with lunch, a tour, court access and more. We were even able allowed to play ball on the Golden One Court. ( As you can see below Allyn Green even made quite a few Half Court Shots!!) It was truly a wonderful experience.
